SiR R.i.P.P.E.R. Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Is it possible to add a cockpit to an existing model? I'd be very interested in modeling an F-4E cockpit; I don't want to model the exterior though.
OldCrow Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 You could do it if you add it as a module to DCS World. There is some coding involved aswell though to get your cockpit functional. For FC2 it is not possible unless you replace one of the existing cockpits in the sim. [sIGPIC]http://www.virtualredarrows.com/member_sigs/vra2012_crow.png[/sIGPIC]
SiR R.i.P.P.E.R. Posted November 9, 2012 Author Posted November 9, 2012 I remember that thing about LOMAC, that's why I asked. So, I can make the default F-4 of DCS flyable and specify my custom cockpit to be used with it, right?
OldCrow Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Yes, in DCS World [sIGPIC]http://www.virtualredarrows.com/member_sigs/vra2012_crow.png[/sIGPIC]

SiR R.i.P.P.E.R. Posted November 9, 2012 Author Posted November 9, 2012 that F-4 External Model is a Eyesore. +1, but I don't have the time to make one. IDK though... BTW, is anyone able to lend a hand with that? I have made models for MSFS, but I have to get to grips with DCSW
aap_flanker Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Tomcat had made a f-4 3d model... Ask if he can convert to .edm format and ready, problem solved!
