Adding a cockpit to an existing model

Is it possible to add a cockpit to an existing model? I'd be very interested in modeling an F-4E cockpit; I don't want to model the exterior though.

You could do it if you add it as a module to DCS World. There is some coding involved aswell though to get your cockpit functional.

 

For FC2 it is not possible unless you replace one of the existing cockpits in the sim.

I remember that thing about LOMAC, that's why I asked.

So, I can make the default F-4 of DCS flyable and specify my custom cockpit to be used with it, right?

BTW, is anyone able to lend a hand with that? I have made models for MSFS, but I have to get to grips with DCSW

Tomcat had made a f-4 3d model... Ask if he can convert to .edm format and ready, problem solved!
