Kula66 Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 Just recorded a track on-line ... where loads of AMRAAMs missed ... wanted to replay it and see what happened. However, when I say play track, it won't let me jump external, it just lets me play the track from my cockpit ... My defaults normally allow externals etc. I can't alter the options on he track ... anyway I can do this? Thanks
GGTharos Posted November 13, 2005 Posted November 13, 2005 Yes, do it from edit->open file->select track file type->open yoru track from the menu: flight->play track. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
S77th-GOYA Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 You need LOTU. LockOn Track Utility. You can enable externals, map view, labels, and even cockpit jumping, IIRC. Just open the track you want, click the boxes you want enabled, and save. http://w1.431.telia.com/~u43112345/LOTU.exe
Kula66 Posted November 14, 2005 Author Posted November 14, 2005 Thanks GOYA thats just what I was after, works a treet ... amazing to see why some missiles miss!
S77th-GOYA Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 My pleasure. It's also interesting to see pilots fly right past enemy planes without seeing them. Record more tracks, you see it all the time. Are you finding the the 120s just go dumb in the endgame?
Guest ruggbutt Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I see that more often than not Goya.
Kula66 Posted November 14, 2005 Author Posted November 14, 2005 One thing that is apparent from watching tracks ... R-27ER/Ms will follow you where every you turn, they'll even loop round and re-attack you ... whereas 77s and 120s once they miss thats it ... off they sail into the distance!
Guest ThomasDWeiss Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 tanks for the link, I uploaded it.
S77th-GOYA Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 tanks for the link, I uploaded it. I actually looked for it on your site first and was surprised that it wasn't there. You run a great site, Thomas. Thanks.
Kula66 Posted November 20, 2005 Author Posted November 20, 2005 Reuest for ED: Can we have a way of rewinding when playing a track ... so when you are reviewing you can go back in time without having to restart. Thanks!
