re: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=97533

Take the DCS World 1.2.2 update for November 16, 2012

Then use this Black Shark Upgrade update module:

================================

https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?scr=product&ProductId=13&end_pos=136&lang=en

which is: KA-50_bs1update_en_1.2.2.7286_39.exe

When I ran the installation .exe file, I did get a message pop-up stating my Black Shark source code was corrupt, but I chose to ignore it and all seems fine, so far in SP and MP.

My copy DCS: Black Shark Upgrade 1.1.1.1 also is the current DCS World module 1.2.2 and it upgraded itself when I checked my online vault.

I did not purchase a separate license for World. And I did not touch the Registry.

I also still have BS1 for FC2, BS2 for DCS still intact, and also BS2 in DCS World.

This month old thread's information is no longer relative, Messages #43 and #27:

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=94773&page=5

I also re-setup BS1 version 1.0 in a separate directory to get access to its interactive training videos.

I hope Combined Arms will be an easy installation.

blackshark 1.1.1.1 is not compatible with World.

thats right it's a stand alone version not a world module version.

Sure it is, I have the $20 Upgrade version for BS2. That is all I am using to get BS2 into World. Worked for me.

A lot of people talk as if they know what they are talking about and do not.

I don't care, suffer along if you wish.

that's what you call semantics...

One does not have anything to do with the other.

BS1.1.1.1 stand-alone

If you owned BS, you were given the opportunity to purchase an upgrade for the DCS World.

It looks like youre making a milkshake in your head about different software product about the same subject.

DCS World uses modules. The DCS standalone products have upgrades.

BS 1 does not exist for DCS world.

Cant you just install the DCS World BS2 module (not the upgrade module) and use your BS2 serial in that?

Forget about BS 1 when you want to use DCS World.

I never said BS1 is part of World.

I'm good. I just flew the Ka-50 for an hour to the 104th's World server.

I posted to help others.

I won't do that again, excuuuuuuse me.

Sorry I tried to help.

It is easy enough for the storekeeper to go take alook what I purchased.
