No you can't install modules that aren't 1.22 into world 1.2.2, standalone versions ended with 1.1.1.1

To install 1.2.2 remove everything to do DCS (make backups of missions, templates and controller profiles etc), download this. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?ProductId=21&end_pos=137&scr=product&lang=en

Then download this the modules you want from here http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?end_pos=136&scr=products&lang=en

Install DCS world 1.2.2 and then the modules you downloaded.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

Are you trying to tell me that I can't use the DVD version of A-10 and I have to buy it again online?

You DVD serial should work also with the downloaded version, as I understanded.

The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.

Yes it does, I originally bought the DVD version, and the serial worked just fine, in my case, it just activated, and didn't even ask for the serial again.

I am able to run both versions with no problems, but 1.1.1 is stand-alone only, it does not integrate into DCS World, and I still had to download/install the A-10C module for World.

I don't understand your problem... download the 1.2.2 module, install, and activate it with your serial... it's the same product, even if your DVD version wasn't already integrated in world (because world still does not exist at the time). Why do you need to buy it again? all the downloads are free... the activations are locked by serial and you already have your.
