Greetings,

Is there any way to change the position of the "center" that the "center view" (keypad5) key gets you to?

I use an X52 with slider zoom and when I want to take a good look through the hud, I center the view, zoom in and the view is a bit too low. It cuts my upper portion of the HUD and I have to move the view up again.

Can anyone help me with this matter?

@ X52 users using slider for zooming: do you find the slider to be not so precise as youd want? i.e. zooming to, say, 80% gets your view switching fast between 79% and 81%... any way to overcome this?

Thank you in advance for any words of advice.

Regards,

Wretch

Could you share your values once you tweak them? I have the same issue.

thanks

It's going to depend on the plane. Each is set seperately. What do you fly? Maybe one of us can get you what you need.

I've found that if you bring the zoom out on the Su25T, it works fine. Until you manually zoom into the HUD. You can see it "snap" when it hits the default point and then you can't zoom back out. I prefer 125 degrees on the '25T. It feels better than the "face pressed up against the windscreen" view.

Sure, will do :)

As for now its just for the A10, others will follow shortly...

editing file:

snapviews.lua

find the following line and enter this value:

Snap[7][13]["vAngle"] = -7
