gdotts Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 My system is windows 7 32 bit! I have DCS world downloaded and I am flying within DCS world both dogfighting and ground on 32 bit. My question is will P-51 work??? Please advise! Gdotts
VH-Rock Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Other system specs would be useful, but I used to run DCS:P-51 on win XP 32bit and my wingman currently runs it on win 7 32bit, so I think you'll be fine. Virtual Horsemen - Right Wing (P-51) - 2008... Virtual Ultimate Fighters - Lead (P-47) - 2020...
gdotts Posted December 1, 2012 Author Posted December 1, 2012 Just now downloaded P-51, installed it, runs fine on my 32bit. Anyone know the games keystrokes not metioned in the in game manual.(throttle/autopilot/eject/rudder).
EtherealN Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 You should find some help in the training missions. For other controls you can find them in the Controls Screen through selecting P-51D in the Layer menu. Throttle > Axis Commands, Throttle There is no "ejection" (it doesn't have an ejection seat), but there is Bailout - LCtrl+E Rudder > Axis Commands, Rudder Fur key control of rudders, select Flight Control, where you will find "Flight control Left" (Z) and "Flight Control Right" (X). Here you will also find Throttle Increase (numpad +) and Throttle Decrease (numpad - ). IMPORTANT NOTE: controlling throttle is not enough. You also need to control Engine RPM (default PgUp and PgDn for keyboard, and under Axis Commands "Engine RPM Setting".)
