WildBillKelsoe Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Hello, I'd like to assign a target to AI and strafe along with AI so he won't expend half of his munitions on one tank. Is it possible? How far should I be from target? I need the AI execute GAU-8 logic so I mimic and have combined effect on target, if possible. PhoenixBvo Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Perhaps your question is somewhat unclear. Do you mean to implement additional AI logic? Do you want this to work when you order your wingman to attack using the radio or may it be part of a mission design? I'm sorry, I don't have answers to your question myself, but I'm trying to help you enticing the experts to give you your answer. ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] CPU i7 4970k @ 4.7 GHz RAM 16GB G.Skill TridentX 1600 ATX ASUS Z97-PRO DSU Samsung 850 PRO 256GB SSD for Win10, Plextor M6e 128GB SSD for DCS exclusively, RAID-1 HDDs GFX Aorus GTX 1080 Ti 11GB Xtreme Edition, ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q, 27" with G-Sync, Oculus Rift CV1 HID TM HOTAS Warthog + 10 cm extension, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR 5, Obutto oZone My TM Warthog Profile + Chart, F-15C EM Diagram Generator
SmokeyTheLung Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I think multiplayer is the only way ...I'm sure that's not the answer you're looking for :) but it's all I've got System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer
WildBillKelsoe Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 What I wanted to know if its possible to synchronize my movements with AI so we both shoot at one target. I can't loiter too close to tank waiting for "Two, running in" and then all of a sudden twist my G-load and enter a stall just to point my beak with wingman. I will bleed to much energy. Say I'm attacking at 02:01:03 to 02:01:05. What is the attacking distance with GUN for AI wingman. Where does he start shooting? So I can time myself with him, so he wont shoot half his cannon on one tank. If AI attacks 02:01:05, this is a delay. If AI attacks 02:01:03 this is on time. If AI attacks 02:01:00, this is a delay. I WANT TO SYNC MY MOVES WITH AI. AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower.
