Sierra99 Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Gentlemen, I need a little information for a map I am building... 1.) How long do the EOR checks take for a flight of 4 A-10s assuming no Red Balls? 2.) Does the Crew Chief come up on Interphone during EOR checks? 3.) What if anything is said by the crew chief? (Flaps Panels look good etc?) Thanks in advance Sierra [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Primary Computer ASUS Z390-P, i7-9700K CPU @ 5.0Ghz, 32GB Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 @ 3200Mhz, ZOTAC GeForce 1070 Ti AMP Extreme, Samsung 970 EVO M.2 NVMe drives (1Tb & 500 Gb), Windows 10 Professional, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Thrustmaster Warthog Stick, Thrustmaster Cougar Throttle, Cougar MFDs x3, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals and TrackIR 5. -={TAC}=-DCS Server Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3, i7-3770K CPU @ 3.90GHz, 32GB G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 @ 1600Mhz, ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 970.

Snoopy Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 (edited) 1. If your strictly talking EOR (End of Runway) it depends on the weapons load. 2. Yes, on the arm end of EOR one crew chief hooks up comms while the other walks around the jet. For dearm we don't hook up comms 3. Basically it's just how you doing sir and if we find something wrong we relay it to him/her. Edited December 10, 2012 by Snoopy v303d Fighter Group Discord | Virtual 303d Fighter Group Website

What would you consider the most common red balls you deal with? not looking for real detail just an idea of what tends to break during taxi. I aincerly appreciate the info...I'm Playing around trying to build a departure EOR stop into mission. Snoopy Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 99.9% of the time, if the jet makes it to EOR it makes its sortie. WE have redballs all the time in the spot, SADL rekey is probubly the most common but that varies as well. As to EOR, the normal maintenance type issues are leaks, and primarily hyrdaulic. Which can't be fixed at EOR so she'll either shut down and we'll tow her back or she'll taxi back. I'd say 5 to 8 minutes, per jet, to pull pins and do the walk around is a good average. v303d Fighter Group Discord | Virtual 303d Fighter Group Website
