Wayc00lio Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Is there a way to allow the environment audio to come out of my main speakers but the comms audio come out of my headset? I suppose I could get TS to come out of the headset while the game is on the Speakers, but I wondered if in DCSW there would be a way to separate in game sounds and helmet/comms audio. Cheers. seikdel Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 I asked the same thing: The feature have been previously requested, but not planned or implemented in DCS afaik.
Wayc00lio Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 Ah, OK. That'll answer my question then :-) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Asus ROG Rampage Extreme VI; i9 7900X (all 10 cores at 4.5GHz); 32 Gb Corsair Dominator DDR4; EVGA 1080Ti Hybrid; 1Tb Samsung 960 Evo M2; 2Tb Samsung 850 Pro secondary. seikdel Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Yeah, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. It'd be pretty awesome.
Suchacz Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 (edited) If you have 5.1 speakers, you can try to plug your headphones to "center" connector and disable/redirect/upmix the subwoofer in your audio drivers settings. Just guessing... Because radio traffic and TS is mixed only to center channel. Edited December 13, 2012 by Suchacz Per aspera ad astra!
