alexej21 Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Hello Pilots, There is always a problem which you need to solve :( My track Ir 5 works OK but after some time, 2h, 30 minutes... is just frozen and doesn't respond. LED are usually both green. Even if I move Track clips from the camera view, still 2 green LEDs on it. I saw also 2 orange LED on it few times. Track Ir is connected to USB hub, the USB hub has external power supply. - problem ? Track is mounted on the wall behind me. Is there a possible that the track is overheated ? Is there any way to reload trackir without need of closing of DCS ? I found this for Falcon: In the meanwhile I found a workaround when this problem happens which is the following: 1- In the sim's setup option go to controllers and assign a key command to the "Reload TrackIR" command which by default is unassigned. I assigned the "ALT+T" keys to the "Reload TrackIR" command since the "ALT+T" keys aren't used in the sim. 2- When playing a misson and when the TrackIR freezes, pause the sim and ALT-TAB 3- Open the TrackIR program window -> You should notice that TrackIR is inded "frozen" (it won't move) 4- If TrackIR is inded "frozen", close the TrackIR program 5- Open the TrackIR program again -> Check what everything is ok within the TrackIR program 6- Return to the sim 7- Unpause the sim 8- Press the key(s) that you assigned as "Reload TrackIR" 9- After this TrackIR should be working again Thank you [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] .....Vladimir, let's go to Sukhoi.......
JG14_Smil Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Try the TIR without the USB hub and go direct to a USB port. I've always heard it was best to not use a hub with the TIR.
alexej21 Posted December 15, 2012 Author Posted December 15, 2012 Solved. Connection directly to MOBO helped. I have a new active usb HUB but it's a crap :joystick: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] .....Vladimir, let's go to Sukhoi.......
