Duel install of A10c v1.1.1.1 and DCSW 1.2.2 possible?

Could somebody ease tell me what is the best way to set up a dual install A10c installation.

Install WH 1.1.1.1 using this: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?scr=product&ProductId=25&end_pos=135&lang=en

 

Install DCS World + A-10C Module

 

Make sure both are installed to a separate folder. And thats all you need to do.

I already have DCS World 1.2.2 (latest patched version) version of A10 installed and wondered if I needed to de-activate my install first before installing the v1.1.1.1 alongside it.

Nope. It will share the key. If its already activated for one install it won't need to be activated for additional installs.

OK, V1.1.1.1 installed. Works fine.

 

How can I get my whole custom controller setup over to the v1.1.1.1 version.?

 

I have custom keyboard settings and 4 other controllers to worry about.

You can't. The controller file formats changed between 1111 and DCS World. So that is one slightly annoying aspect of going between the two. Also missions might have some slight incompatibility issues. Generally speaking missions made in World might not work in 1111, but missions made in 1111 should work in World.

Ah, I see. Never mind though. Shouldn't take too long.

 

I noticed a good increase in FPS on V1.1.1.1. Just finding out if anything has changed (systems and avionics wise) compared to DCS World 1.2.2.

 

So far I'm enjoying it .
