I have edited and saved a profile under a different name. This profile comes from http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=74191. When I have it selected as primary profile and launch the game, the game does not have the controls implemented. Also, the MFD says;

Mode 1

Mode 1

(file name of profile)

I have a feeling that I did not import the profile into the DCS A10 game controls. If that is the case then how would I do that with a pr0?? Or have I done something wrong in installing the profile? I have spent 2 days trying to get this throttle and stick to work. I even wiped the whole mapping and remapped it just in case there were any keys that might have been misplaced. I will attach the current profile I am using. Oh, and hello to everyone! I am excited to learn from these forums as I have already learned alot. Cheers!!!:helpsmilie:

Just got an X52 Pro myself and learning to make profiles with it. Here is what I know so far:

You don't need to import the profile into A-10C game controls. The .pr0 files are located at your system drive \Users\Public\Documents\Saitek SD6 Profiles folder.

To load the profile, you need to click in the Profiler system tray icon and all the profiles will be displayed there, along with the options to open the profiler and unload profile. You may select the profile from the list and the icon should turn green. The X25 Throttle quadrant LCD will then display the profile name on the lower line.

Hope this helps!

Yeah its set as default profile and it's green. I just tried it again. The game and the controls arnt syncing for some reason.

Try loading the Saitek profiling utility and load the profile from there! Then press the blue reticle (Profile) button and see if the controller updates the TQ LCD. You may also try rebooting and doing this from a freshly booted system, as mine seems to hang at times and only power-cycling the X52 Pro helps!

Also try to unload the profile. The icon should turn black and the profile should be unloaded from the X52. It should also say "Mode 1", "Mode 1", "No profile" on the LCD then.

Are you using the latest drivers and software from Saitek website?

I found that there were conflicts between my x52 pro profile and the presets in the DCS options for the stick. I solved this by eliminating the entire category for the x52 in the options/control page. That way I was relying totally on my profile. Another option is just look for conflicts where your profile and the DCS presets may have assigned the same joystick buttons for different functions. Another thing to remember is that every time you modify your x52 profile you must click CLEAR PROFILE and then activate it again before the changes will take effect.

I would uninstall the drivers and SST programming software and download the same from the Saitek website. http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.php. Be sure to select the exact OS that you are using. First install the drivers and then the SST software and don't plug in the stick until you are prompted to. The profile you created will still be in the Saitek folder in My Documents so you won't have to start from scratch.

Yeah I tried that. For somereason its still not working. Should I being using the non steam version? do you think steam is causing any problems?

The steam version is outdated AFAIK. I am using A-10C 1.1.1.1 as a DCS World module. But I don't think that DCS is at fault here.

FYI, the steam version is v1.1.1.1 and if you are running a DCS World module then it cannot be v1.1.1.1 since that version is a standalone product.

Thanks for clearing that up, I use standalone version and just got the above info from some forum post for what it's worth...
