Hi all.

Ok, I've currently got almost everything exported, thanks to PeterP's get LUA file, to the stunning Spike-BS Helios profile.

The very last part is to get the Rnds, Remain and Store LEDs to display on Helios.

I was wondering if this is even possible, as it wasnt included in PeterP's setup and that looked pretty conclusive.

Also I can't recall seeing it being displayed in any of the Helios videos that I've seen with Blackshark.

Could someone please let me know or at least point me in the correct direction.

it is simple to do in Helios.

picture.php?albumid=254&pictureid=5063

You just create three "labels" and drag the proper binding over for each. Quite easy. You will need a 7-segment font installed in Windows to look realistic, but any will do.

Use center/center for the alignment,

Use "Trigger" value binding ('text','text' for the type display. Use 'numeric', 'text' for other two displays. Ignore the warning you get with 'numeric', 'text' bindings).

Set background color, set font color, type and size. Leave the line blank in the "text" category

That's it.

To make getting set up easier, use "88" in the text category of the labels. It will show the fonts without having to start DCS up. When all is finished, set the text back to blank.

Thanks for the reply, Ive tried to follow your instructions and I think Ive got the right settings. However I still cant get anything showing, Is there a export I should be setting up in the LUA files as well.

It works fine.

Delete your old ones.

Go to "Toolbox"/"Panel Decorations", choose "label"

Drag to monitor tab, set a square size. (leaving text and colors default).

Set "Text" to "88"

Use background with the checkbox.

Use center and center for alignment.

Save Profile. Highlight Label, click Input tab, point to DCS Interface, go to PUI-800.

Drag "Cannon rounds changed" binding to "set Text", choose "Trigger Value", with "numeric" trigger value, "text" as action value. Ignore red warning.

Save Profile, exit. Load Helios CP and run profile.

You will see "88" on your black label with white numbers.

Start DCS BS, unpause and it will change to "24" or go blank if a cold start(!)

Repeat for other two labels, using text and text for trigger/action value for the weapon type label.

When all is well, set background color to a custom dark green color, fonts to the brighter LED color green. You can get fancy and use a picture background in your gui to make it look like reflected glass.

When all is well, leave "Text" blank so it will be blank when you enter DCS and save the profile.

Thanks for such a in depth reply, sorry I'm not very good at this sort of thing.

Was just wondering if my issue was because I hadn't changed the monitor LUA file to export the numbers as I have done with the others.

I will delete everything and start again, as soon as I get back from work tomorrow.

Those instructions above are stunning, if that dosnt get it working nothing will.

Many thanks for taking the time to help me.

You're welcome. :)

No, Helios and exporting viewports are two different things. No other changes are needed, but you may have to make room on your GUI to see the labels. You are probably covering them up with another graphic. This is all done in Helios.

I don't use a GUI, I use a CPUI :) I can't help with GUI setups in Helios. Others probably can though.

Woohoo, Success, Huge thanks mate, Turned out the Font was too large on original profile hence it was hidden behind the background, all changed found font 30 looks just about right.

Now working like a charm. :)
