pbpullman Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Hi folks. I just upgraded my controls to the CH Combatstick USB and Pro Throttle. Still trying to learn how CH's control manager works. My last joystick was an Attack 3, and I never used the software that came with it...I simply directly mapped the controls into the OPtions>Controls page of the GUI. Until I get the Thrustmaster HOTAS, there are still some limitations with the CH stick. For example, what if I want to use the same button for turning my countermeasures on and off with alternate presses? The only way I see how to do that in the GUI is by using modifier keys, and I don't want to do that. I do see there is a load profile button in the GUI...is this for importing control assignments that I create with the CH software?
PeterP Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 (edited) Yes : add a modifier. Means = sacrifice a button that you can use as a "shift" key to give all other buttons a new meaning while holding this modifier. This paper will may help: Controller Setting info from GUI manual Edited January 12, 2013 by PeterP
