Phyrex Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 (edited) need help. the macros ive set up on the 2 throttle hatswitch keep messing up weirdly. im not sure how but they keep swapping/overwriting each other O_o like i have my coolie switch set up on the index hatswitch and the CMS set on the thumb hatswitch. i went for some training and both had turned back to my camera controls. the coolie hat macros werent even in the list anymore and the CMS macros had changed to the camera ones. weirder even, after i reprogrammed the coolie hat macros, the CMS one had disapeared and the thumb hatswitch was now programmed with the coolie hat macros O_o it happened twice now, i have no clue whats going on. help  edit : my problem is in the x52 SST, not DCS proper Edited January 12, 2013 by Phyrex
Picksplitter Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 When you go into options/controls... top right is a drop down menu for 'free camera', 'sim' and 'game'.... ensure that your lua file is the same for each option. I know this caused me lots of grief in the 'not knowing 'bout it' learning phase! Note.... you have to highlight the x52 coloumn for each option and check what lua file is showing... re-load as necissary (sic) Hope this helps... Picksplitter Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Right... which is why I wound up ignoring SST and re-programmed the whole enchilada within the options/control thingy.... just seemed simpler for me! Works every time with no grief! The LT Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 The SST can be a bit jerky at times, just restart it when you messed it up and try reassigning again. I managed to set my stick up in a couple of days by gradually adding functions and thorougly testing them.
