Sierra99 Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Hey, I am trying to add some C-130's and C-17's to a map. I like them to fly point A to B at a realistic altitude of 20,000 feet. The problem each time they reach a waypoint with a different altitude, they pull nose up about 70 degrees and try to make that altitude all in one move. Is there a way to have them climb realisticlly and level off without stalling each time? Grimes Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Not that I am aware of. Pretty much the best way to do it is to incrementally give the AI a higher altitude waypoint so that the AI will climb in a more realistic or reasonable way. It *could* also depend on how far the AI are currently from the waypoint you want them to be at. For example if WP 2 is 20km away the AI might try to gain altitude quicker than if WP2 was 50km away. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
