Quirkitized Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Main menu options > gameplay > make sure F10 view options is set to all mission, make sure enemy targets are not checked "HIDDEN ON MAP" I think this is what you need? not very sure, sorry
Grimes Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Fog of War should be the option you are looking for. Here is a rough break down of "what is seen" If object is hidden on the map it should not appear on either setting. Hidden on map will also effect the ABRIS screen on the Ka-50. As it stands now the ABRIS is only based on what is hidden or not hidden. The F10 view options will have no effect. Allied Vision: Aircraft see only allies. CA slots will have FoW with targets revealed by friendly aircraft of ground forces. Fog of War: As enemies are detected they are revealed on the F10 map. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Erforce Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 2 things should be in dev-list about that : Mission planner (before flying the mission) is always showing me the full Ally/Ennemy forces when the mission builder trusted a little too much on Fog of War and didn't hid his units... I personnaly think Fog of War is kinda cheating (very precise, long range). Making things too easy to spot units with F-10, even if you send your wingman in recce mode without success. I don't know how to overcome this sadly. But yes, you should try Fog of War setup. Make sure ennemies are not hidden on map. If Grimes's right, maybe Allied Vision is something even better.
