kyletiernan Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 That is the question. I bought a 3D monitor a while ago not for 3D but for the 120hz and now I'm wondering if anyone here has used 3D and if they think it is worth getting? All i need to buy is the Nvidia 3D glasses and IR unit which is about 100 dollars. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

You want to run serious missions with it and have to be sure that your target is at one point and you don't want to guess if it's several hundred (thousand) feet to the right or left from the point your HUD is indicating ...? - ... No,- don't buy it. Wait until this bug/design flaw is fixed, and you will save you from lots of trouble: >>> Demo for a HUD that works in stereoscopic 3D Edited January 21, 2013 by PeterP

PeterP Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) Yes, It's really like looking through a window , with a head-Tracker. ...and its really hard to get back to a 2D image once you have it all set up. Edited January 21, 2013 by PeterP
