I have already downloaded the gremlin tool, Modified the .lua file, set up te viewport But im still missing (or not understanding) the arduino part. :joystick:Cockpit Project ---> http://imageshack.us/g/805/43072310150728796824899.jpg/
Duckling Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 It's included in the package. Check the unzipped package and the folder "LCDComVersion" for the file "LCDComVersion.ino" - - - -

TomDK Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Any news ?? I am not so happy with this solution. I flew many times but it always happens that the program find new letters to be learned. Than I have the problem that I can not tab correct to the window with the letter to enter, meanwhile the letter to learn is gone on the A-10 CMSP and I have to guess what it was .. very unlucky. Better than nothing, that for sure but a perfect solution would be to export the CMSP data to the arduino / led display. Nobody else running in this trouble ? Maybe I make something wrong ... mr_mojo97 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Does anyone know if I can use an Ethernet splitter for this project? My router is downstairs and my gaming pc upstairs with a 30m Ethernet cable between them. If I can't do this can I attach another router to my gaming pc to allow another port for the Ethernet shield? Hope that makes sense. Duckling Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 (edited) Hi Mojo. Easiest solution is to add a network switch (such as this) at your Sim PC room that connects to the the router, and hook in the PC and Ardiono Ethershield to that. Dual routers in same network will get messy to handle. Cost for a switch compared with two splitters and an extra cable would be lower and installation is just to hook it in. mr_mojo97 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 You're a star mate, thanks for that. bnepethomas Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 IIRC switch position data is exported. What is not exported is the mag hold state, the "invisible hand" so to say. As a result magnetic switches will stay on even if not energized because when physical switch is engaged DCS thinks there is invisible hand still holding them. So OCR even if it would have been possible would not resolve the issue. The good news is that as soon as magnetic hold engages legally DCS will be able to drop the switches even though the ones on physical controllers are still on. I plan to intercept that on to off in-game transition and send a pulse to trigger the circuitbrakers I use for SAS , anti skid and such. At least that's half of functionality ... EDIT: Ducking, I remember we had this conversation already in December or so:) I'm still sticking with toggle circuit breakers idea. Post 50 in my build thread following good discussion on the matter with gadrock chiming in ( just in case you need reminder :) ) Hi Guys On the magnetic switch front, for at least the ones that are reflected in the caution panel could we do something as simple as turning off power to the coil whenever the matching caution light is displayed? sanxez Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 I have a little problem with cmspCOM, see if someone can lend me a hand. SAVE When I give, I jump an error "access to the path C: \ A10 \ cmspCOM.txt is denied."
Duckling Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Can it be file or directory security permissions settings ? Just a longshoot if you running NTFS filesystem and have some limitation to the folder or file. If so check properties\security on folder and file and verify that your account or group have write/modify authority to the folder and cmsp text file. - - - -
Duckling Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Have some trouble to get it working after a reinstal of the cmspCOM version. Can't get the application to detect the the "current val" and it's displayed as blank on the second row of the LCD. Top row is working fine. wiped the config twice just in case but no luck. (Manual shows a digit in the small area with a question mark in the attached picture but nothing seen there on my screen.) Anyone had this issue or have an idea of solution ? Cheers Gus - - - -
Duckling Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Found it :-) The x/y value in lower left part of cmspteachin window is not the size of the viewport window as I thought, my bad. Keeping the original values 101/25 (seems to be a point within the viewport export itself?) get the correct handling of second row of the display. - - - -
