Impact Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Hello, I have bought Black Shark when it came out, and also bought the update to version 2. How do I correctly install it with DCS World? I had a few problems last year which didnt activate the simulator when I tried installing the first one seperately, and then upgrading with the new version. Quirkitized Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 (edited) Install black shark 1, activate (leave it installed for now) Install DCS World Install DCS World Black Shark 2 upgrade module Play. It will then ask for Black Shark 2 upgrade key, input it. That should basically be it. Once you have black shark 2 upgrade installed and running with DCS world you can uninstall black shark 1 but honestly if you have the free disk space just leave it installed. i have it installed on a large backup harddisk just to make my life easier in future. Thanks in advance I purchased the basic, first, BS1, its subsequent free upgrades. Then I purchased BS2, its free upgrades. When I went to DCS World, my BS2 had a free upgrade for DCS World. I needed no further purchase. And it works fine. I do not remember if I had to input my original BS2 serial number, but I think I did, for DCS World. I still fly BS2 in DCS and BS1 in FC2 in MP if I can find servers still up that use it. FC2 is still very popular in MP. A lot of different people told me I had to purchase another copy for World.
