TopRock Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Are there any plans to fix these agencies before FC3's beta closes, to bring them in line with 3-1 standards? As well as their utility? Getting a two groups call in core with zero relation is pretty useless and eats up so much radio time. When a "Two Groups, Azimuth", "Two Groups, Range" call would speed the whole process up. Also it's like nails on a chalkboard to hear bullseye being truncated to "bulls". Correct format for picture calls is: "Magic, two groups, azimuth 10, north group bullseye 270, 20, 25k, hostile, two contacts. South group 25k, hostile, two contacts." So essentially "Magic" -callsign of the agency giving the picture. "Two groups, azimuth 10" - Number of groups with relation. "North Group bullseye..." - Giving a full declaration on the group highest on anchoring priorities. *Assumptions: Single Contact unless stated otherwise. Group meets HOT criteria unless a track direction is stated. "South group 25k,..." - Giving information for employment after dealing with the northern group. I realize that GCI/AWACS are a fairly tough mechanism to program but perhaps allowing a player to assume the roll of GCI could be a viable option that could be selected? Absolutely love this game so far!
