Because i have read that Win8 has no Aero Glass theme anymore and Helios need it to be activated to get best possible performance. Are there some kind of disadvantages? FreeFall Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 At least with my system, Helios works OK with Windows 8. If you upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 8 (not a fresh install), and if you have multiple screens, Windows may rearrange your displays. But you can easily tweak the settings right back where they were.
