Hello,

I'd like to know if there are other ways besides using the game interface to successfully connect and only look at servers online, their ping, their player numbers and server run time.

This is just a quick peek request. Lets say I find server X alive. I close that utility, boot game interface and join normally.

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

I think going thru the DCS Multiplayer GUI is their way of knowing you have a legit copy of their product..otherwise..well you know the outcome...its a business...

And doing this allows DCS Team to expand on their knowledge of required Aircraft Mod's for the near future..

Well, its not that I want to use my requested app or utility to login (game files have to be in GUI). More of who's online and who's not type of thing.

I asked this long time ago, as I wanted to implement "LO-server viewer" in my web-page (similar to teamspeak-server viewer). Sadly, there is nothing like that, and what's even worse client-server (and client-masterserver) communication protocol is not documented (asked for info but they refused to reveal it), so it's kind of difficult to code something without going deep into reverse-engineering...

I think in this case (and maybe a few more) ED is maybe "over-paranoid". I understand they want to protect their intelectual property, but I can not imagine how could I damage their business with just simple server-viewer, or master-server browser...

In other words you are looking for something along the lines of HyperLobby...setup...:music_whistling:

Just a namelist of the servers through an api is more likely what he means like BF has.

Yes, exactly like BF. Thanks I wish I'd put it that way.

You say you've put together a team, your residential location is a Russian name i can't read. Now Russia is very big it doesn't have to mean anything, but it seems your closer to where 'the meat' is than most of us.

But in general the comment of putting together a team makes me wondering what you maybe do know what i maybe don't. :)

I'm not ruling out an insidersjoke in which i take my time in getting the clue of it.

No seriously he's right. It IS the Kuznetsov. But not really am I part of that carrier, or battle group for that matter.
