DayGlow Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 I was flying Smerch Hunt and everything was going fine through most of the mission. I switch the the JTAC Uzi as directed and he sends me a new target. I notice the UTM coordinates start with LN instead of the MN of the previous ones. When I entered the coordinates the were for a spot 1000 nm away. Is this a bug or what? NC_Cyborg Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Check the first two digits in the coord. The game uses both 37T and 38T. It is possible that you are located in 37T and the target could be in 38T or vice versa. I have made that mistake before. All you have to do is update that in the CDU. DayGlow Posted February 24, 2013 Author Posted February 24, 2013 Re-flew the mission and it worked this time. I must of set the grid wrong by accident last time since they were way off. Didn't change my procedures in between the 2 flights. "It takes a big man to admit he is wrong...I'm not a big man" Chevy Chase, Fletch Lives 5800X3D - 64gb ram - RTX3080 - Windows 11
Evil.Bonsai Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 How do you change the grid? Enter either 37T or 38T in the cdu
