wolle Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Given the difficulty with visually spotting targets (because of low monitor resolution, field-of-view etc.) would be nice if there were aids like radar to help with that. They had primitive radars in WWII, how can they be implemented in the ME for single-player missions? I was thinking of putting a radar antenna on the ground, and then use some lua scripting to detect units and report their positions. Or could one use AWACS units on the ground (and make them invisible) to simulate the functionality of ground based radar installations? There was no AWACS back in those days, right? In short, my question is how to implement WWII style radar and target spotting in DCS World?
