Anatoli-Kagari9 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 It's been a few months since I had installed DCS World for the 1st time, so, when I decided to revert back to Win7 and installed 1.2.3 from scratch yesterday, I was presented in thi initial menu with a few "ticked" options and an "unticked" one: - Install DriectX January 2010 I ticked it and proceeded with the install. Near the end I got a report that the version of VC++2010 in my system was more recent and so the installer didn't install it's own runtime, and that was all. Question is: What does the option "Install DirectX Jan 2010" impact on my Win7 64 bit install. Should I have not chosen it (it was not selected by default)? Thx in advance for any help Flight Simulation is the Virtual Materialization of a Dream...
Lange_666 Posted March 1, 2013 Posted March 1, 2013 If i'm correct, DirectX will only install "newer" files and leave the rest alone so nothing to worry about.
