Hello everyone,

I've been having a small but curious issue when navigating in Flight Plan mode. :)

If I want to fly precisely over the line to the next steerpoint, I dial the correct course displayed on the waypoint attributes page on the CDU, and the Course Deviation Indicator on the HSI is properly aligned with what is displayed on the TAD until I switch to Mission to verify my recently waypoints that I've added manually or do anything else.

Even maintaining the correct path to the next waypoint and flying pretty much exactly on top of the waypoint line displayed on the TAD, once I switch back from Mission to Flight Plan mode, the CDI, which was fine before, is now way off. The correct course is still dialed in the HSI, and yes I've made sure to select the previous steerpoint and then the one I'm flying to again, to make sure the desired course isn't backwards. But still the CDI won't align again with the correct path to the steerpoint, as it was before. :)

Does anybody know what I can do to fix this?

Thanks

You have to notice what your next steerpoint is. You can see that bottom right in your HUD.

I bet your switching between CDU waypoint databases switches also the steepoint...

Hello Rongor, yes the steerpoint is still the correct one, as I mentioned before I even cycle the steerpoints again to make sure the course heading indication doesn't reverse in the Waypoint Attributes page on the CDU.
