JHzlwd Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 I seem to be on a roll here with dumb questions ... I have DCS World 1.2.3 up and running just fine. My aircraft modules are presumably still at 1.2.2. For example, there is now a Ka-50 1.2.3 available for download. If I download this and attempt installing will it simply update or replace my 1.2.2 for free? ... or should I buy the 1.2.3 ... which is OK by me but would like to know anyway. Jona33 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 No you won't have to pay. Look in the main menu and at the bottom left, below each of the plane icons is the version number. If you autoupdated then you don't need to worry. If you installed from scratch you will have to download the new modules. (Free) Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
DayGlow Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Just run the auto-updater. It will update all the modules you have. "It takes a big man to admit he is wrong...I'm not a big man" Chevy Chase, Fletch Lives 5800X3D - 64gb ram - RTX3080 - Windows 11
JHzlwd Posted March 3, 2013 Author Posted March 3, 2013 Thanks. Don't know how I could not have seen the version numbers under the icons but it happened :~ I7-2600K@4322 MHz / Asus P8Z77 Deluxe EVGA GeForce1080 SC Video Samsung EVO 850 SSD / Dell U2711 monitor@2560X1440 Saitek X55 "Rhino" / Logitech G510 Win 10 Pro 64 bit
