I've just started to fly the F15, wondering how I can increase the distance of the label. I usually start to see it around 10nm but there is a nasty Russian missile headed for my face before I see em. Anyway I can change that so instead of 10nm the label will show up around 20-30? Looked around here for a thread but couldn't find specific to this.. Thanks!

PS: I'll turn labels off once I get that bloody radar down! Don't judge me :)

You can change the label values in Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Config\View

Apparently it might have to do with graphic settings after all.

Quote from the Labels.lua file:

-- Label max distance depends on graphics visibility range option value

-- For low E40000.0 m

-- For medium E50000.0 m

-- For high E80000.0 m

So setting visibility range to high will show labels up to 80KMs.

Other then that, I don't know.

You'll want to change this section of the Labels.lua file:

WeaponFormat = {}

WeaponFormat[5000] = "[%N%n%D"

WeaponFormat[10000] = "|%n%D"

WeaponFormat[20000] = "|"

By default the labels appear at 20km. If you have your distances in nm you should know that there are 1852m to 1nm.
