JG14_Smil Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I've had one of these for years. I don't have it running for BS yet as I am just getting back into simming and I am waiting for my new system to arrive next week. I've used it most in racing sims in the past, while also using it in many Il-2 missions. Once setup correctly, it is a great simming device. I am glad to see that Craig is still at it. I get the impression he is busy as a one legged man whilst kicking butt and it seems he produces them himself. I would buy another, but I am more intererested in the expansion modules that have been in the works for years. Once you fly a sim with tactile feedback, you just can't sit at desk without it :)
rapid Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 (edited) looking at the iVIBE forum looks like trouble in paradise. AndyHill Posted January 26, 2009 Author Posted January 26, 2009 At the moment I would advice against purchasing iVibe, because things appear to be just as bad as I feared they were. I have been following the technology for years and from what I've heard from people actually using it, iVibe seemed to have potential close to TIR-scale, but due to some reasons it didn't take off. I said didn't instead of hasn't, because due to total lack of anything new for a good while now it seems that even the manufacturer has given up. This really is quite unfortunate. My blog full of incoherent ramblings on random subjects: https://anttiilomaki.wordpress.com/
