AzE Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 (edited) I am also waiting for a reply from customer support. Have the invalid serial number problem. However, I only have 1 account and the serial bound to it was a KA50 and not an A10C serial. After unbinding it from the page / account I was still not able to play on multiplayer after re-registering / activating my local game. Either my key is a KA50 key or somehow my key and some KA50 key got switched during the registration process. Maybe somebody has the same problem who bought KA50 and now has a A10C activation? I was getting help from 5 friends who also own this game and we all were not able to figure out what could be the problem. It was really unusual for me to have that KA50 serial under myserials... I can play DCS A10C in SP as it is activated in DCS World. And yes, I read the FAQ and Hot Issues section. I would appreciate any help. Edited March 30, 2013 by AzE

Now, after I get the right module, however, there is another problem, the upgrade module can not detect my old black shark, even it is on the same system and activated. This is too bad, so many problems. And there is no response at all to my ticket. :( You have most likely installed the wrong module. If you purchase upgrade, you need the upgrade module: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/modules/dcs_black_shark_2_upgrade_english/? Note filename: KA-50bs1_en_1.2.3.10201_147.exe If the filename is not the correct one, it is probably the non-upgrade, which has separate serial numbers. a1adin Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 What was your ticket number? My ticket number is 20419. After reading some more other ka-50 user's post, I uninstall and reinstall the old bs. Finally, the module can detect it. However, since my DCS World is 1.2.2, it must be updated first before I can install KA-50bs1_en_1.2.3.10201. And the update is so slow (2-5kb/sec), it will take ages to complete. Also it gets so slow and then stops in the middle of download, so that I have to restart the downloading process again.
a1adin Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 The update is really useless. Finally I gave up doing it. I prefer to download the whole DCS World 1.2.3 again from torrent, since it is faster that way (although it took me about more 48 hours). Now after finish downloading and installing DCS World 1.2.3, I find it won't work. Yes I can get into the menu, however, when the mission is going to start, I get to the splash screen and after ~5 seconds a window with "DCS has stopped working" pops up. When i press cancel I'm returned to the after mission UI where I can choose to "Fly again" or "Close" If I choose "Fly again" same thing happens. Why is that? The previous version: dcs world 1.2.2 work flawlessly with no error at all. And there is no response at all to my ticket. Hello customer service, where are you ??

Alternatively, if there is none, you should be able to find them through Windows Event Viewer.
