bart Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Are the single missions that are available for download meant for specific versions of the game? I'm currently running DCS World 1.2.3 with the A10-C 1.2.3 Module. I tried the "White Snow" mission tonight and had lots of various targeting problems like the TGP would not slave to the SPI which was the waypoint over the target airfield, in fact the TGP was useless as it seemed to be looking at something below the ground!!. I also managed to get a good lock with a maverick but when I pressed the pickle the weapon did not fire. All other switch selections being correct. So I tried another downloaded mission, can't remember which one now, and had similar problems with the TGP. I thought it was a problem with the game but in desperation I tried a tutorial......the maverick one and all sensors worked no problem. Which brings me to ask is an older downloaded mision or campaign not compatable with later versions of the game? or am I missing something here? Did they change the map within DCS World which mucks up the sensors? Cheers for any help or advice on this....... Quirkitized Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 The most basic thing to do if you are playing missions from older versions of the games would be to load the mission in the mission editor and then save it. This usually helps. Whether or not this helps your specific issues with those missions, I am unsure. Worth a try.
