In-game training not working?

Hey guys

 

I am getting back into DCS now that 1.2.3 is out, as I haven't flown it for a few years. I own DCS A10 and BS2 Update, as well as the FC beta. I'd like to do the training for each of these aircraft, which worked fine in the standalone versions of the game. However, when I tried to to do the training in-game, I was directed to download several Gigabytes worth of files from the ED site. I grabbed them, and only a couple loaded. One spat out corrupt data messages during the install (I checked - the file had indeed successfully completed downloading, which means the source file is buggered), while most others wouldn't even start installing due to an error about 32 vs 64 bit operating systems (I'm running Win7 64-bit ed).

 

I'd really like to get into the FC3 beta and BS2 update, so how do I get the in-game training videos and missions to work? Or is it all broken? And yes, I have searched the forums for anything related to training, and didn't find any obvious answers to the problem. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

The A-10 interactive training missions should already be loaded into the game by default. I don't recall having to download these missions as an extra step. There are no official interactive training missions for BS2 but you can check out my signature for the ones I have created. They are interactive training missions similar to the A10 ones and not the videos that you were directed to on ED's site. I don't own FC3 so I am not sure what types of missions were released with them.

 

When you go to the training tab, there are tabs for the different aircraft.
