Ramstein Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Saitek with Win8 and DCS. I have had some weird problems happen in DCS only with my Saitek X52 Pro and DCS series with Win8. I have had to either reboot, or unplug and plug my stick back in (USB), or just have the stick not respond especially when trying to change profiles on the fly. Weird things going on. In the past before Win8 and the Newest DCS updates recently I thought al my profiles were working well for al the DCS aircraft, only item I don't have is combined arms. Something got screwy, as it al happened when I got a new computer, upgraded to Win8, and uninstalled the old DCS and installed the latest DCS and modules. anyone else have command issues with al the new stuff, combined with the Saitek X52 series? btw, there is a new Saitek SST version out (Win 8 . (drivers are still the same version). Ratfink Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 I have X52 Pro and Saitek Combat rudder pedals, and like you recently got a new PC with Win 8 about 2 months ago. I have had to a unplug and reconnect both probably 2 or 3 times since having new machine, but I do recall having to do that on my old Win 7 machine once in a while - mostly the X52 Pro would stop responding, and a quick reconnect made it ok for weeks.
