3 monitor set up

I have a question. I have a 3 monitor setup with resolution of 5760 x 1080. I am driving them with two GTX660 in SLI mode. When I am in DCS world playing a-10 or FC3 or P-51 I have it set up to one screen, full screen unchecked with an aspect ratio of 5.333333. It starts in cockpit zoomed way in and when it zooms out it still looks too close. I don't think you should have to raise your head to view the top mirror. Also when looking left and right the wings seem to be forshortened until you turn more.

 

Is this how it is or do I need to change some things? Just wondering.

RCTRL+RSHIFT+Zoom Out Key moves camera Back.

The only zoom that works it just the Zoom out key. The wings are still zoomed in until you look farther back. So don't know what to do next.
