MonsterZero Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 The software is running just fine now, but I have frame rate slowdowns at low level in my Su-25T. This is especially bad when turning tightly. Which graphics settings should I address first? Check out my system specs. NZXT Phantom Red Case Intel Core i5-2500K CPU GeForce GTX 770 GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 ATX Intel Motherboard COUGAR SX850 850W PSU CORSAIR Dominator 24 GB RAM SAMSUNG CD/DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-222AB COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus Cooler Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
MadTommy Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I assume you are seeing frame rate drops when your field of view takes in a lot of terrain that includes towns/cities. This is to be expected on any system. What does it drop to and from what? The setting 'Scenes' controls the number of buildings etc. on the terrain, but setting this lower that max should really be avoided at all costs if you are ground pounding in the Su25. But lowing this will reduce the fps hit. i5-3570K @ 4.5 Ghz, Asus P8Z77-V, 8 GB DDR3, 1.5GB GTX 480 (EVGA, superclocked), SSD, 2 x 1680x1050, x-fi extreme music.
