Adding new weapons to DSMS inventory page.

I know how to make HOG in DCS able to carry various weapons whitch are not normally possible in DCS world A-10C like LAU-61 launcher with 19 rockets.

 

But now i need to know how to make those weapons selectable on DSMS inventory page.

 

I tried .lua scripting but i don't have any remarks how to do it, so can anyone explain me how to do it?

 

I know that its very complicated, but i have some expirience in scripting in various games and i have a little expirience with .lua scripts in DCS like changing default chaff flare programs etc.

 

Please just tell me whitch files i should edit to add LAU-61 launcher to inventory and to add a new dumb bomb.

 

I know that its all in mods/aircrafts/A-10C/cockpit/scripts/ and looks like i should edit following files:

DSMS/device/dsms_interface.lua

both files in DSMS/database

and few files in MFCD/indicator/DSMS

 

Whitch files in MFCD/indicator/DSMS i must edit to add a dumb bomb and LAU61 as third type of launcher?

I know that i must make new file for this dumb bomb based on in example MFCD_page_DSMS_inventory_mk82.

 

I know that there is so much to explain so to don't disturb you to much i just asking whitch files i should edit instead of asking what i should do.

 

I thinking about making it on DCS World A-10C module.

believe me, this forum is not the place to be asking that question, i made that video you commented on, i would know. I dont even see the point of adding the LAU-61 when you get 21 rockets from the triple LAU-68

I tried to add GBU-16.

 

Everything was looking very good till i tried to edit Mods\aircrafts\A-10C\Cockpit\Scripts\MFCD\indicator\MFCD_init.lua

 

I edited about 5 files before i edited this one.

 

Can anyone tell me how to edit this particular file?

Did you get the bomb to guide to a laser spot?

 

I've got them (gbu-16) on the wings but they basically act like dumb bombs... As to editing that file, I'd imagine it'd work the same as the others, copy the file to your desktop, edit it, then back up the old one and put the edited one in its place.
