Kameni Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Forgive me for losing patience in browsing for the solution for hours with no succses. I want to: - 1 - Make skin for plane in DCS - 2 - Make it to add new skin slot instead of replacing anything already there - 3 - Put the skin for download/sale Any howto's? P.S. The number 2 is the problem I need you to help me with. Thank you for patience (if anyone gets it to help me) :D
CHSubZero Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 - 2 - Make it to add new skin slot instead of replacing anything already there 1) Go to the liveries folder (e.g. "DCS World\Bazar\Liveries") and goto the folder of your plane or vehicle (e.g. "A-10C") 2) Every skin has a different folder. Copy an existing folder (e.g. "Fictional Canadian Air Force Pixel Camo") 3) In the description.lua you see the necessary skin files as well as the countries for which this skin is made for 4) At the end of every skin file you see "true" or "false. false means that the skin file is in the same folder as the description.lua 5) So copy your skin files to the same folder and make sure you always type "false" at the end...
