Same screen config, fps divided by three with softth

Hello,

I am using a 2 screen config for dcs world : 1920x1080 (120 hz) + 1280x1024 (60 Hz) in windowed mode in dcs world BS2.

The main screen is used for the player view, the second one is used for shkval, abris, ...display (thanks to PeterP).

As I am looking for a 3 (or 4) screen configuration I tried to use softth in the same config to look at performance impact.

I set full screen in DCS, set softth for 2screen config (with the softth config tool), launch the game, have soffth working and find my fps divided by 3 !

I go from 70 fps (insurgent rapid mission) to 25 fps....

My config : gtx 660 ti + i2500k @4 Ghz

 

Is this performance drop normal ?
