I am running DCS World 1.2.3, and tried using the free voiceChecklist application that I have found to be quite useful in FSX and other simulations. I created a voice checklist for the DCS P-51D this afternoon, but when I tested it in DCS World, the keypresses I need to advance through various checklists and move between items are not being detected.

I quit back to desktop, tested the application and it works great outside of DCS World. I ran DCS World again, and even from the menu screen it does not detect the keypresses. I rebound the keys in the voiceChecklist app to make sure that there are no conflicts with DCS commands, but still no joy.

Can anyone please offer any insights on why these keypresses are not being captured when DCS World is running, but works fine with FSX?

Teamspeak works. I use FreeTrack or FaceTrack softwares.

All keys work when in DCS.

Same here, no problems with TS, winamp, Helios, freetrack, etc.... I even send/receive my emails while in game. So my original thought when I read this was.... did you contact the developers of that specific program made for FSX?

The software does not appear to be developed anymore; I will try to get hold of the original developer and see if he knows what could be causing this.

My TrackIR keys are trapping fine through DCS World as it is. I also tried running voiceChecklist as Admin, but it has not improved the situation.

Thanks for all the replies.

Try running both DCS and whatever background apps you're using (trackir, voicechecklist etc) all as admin.

I had the same problem with my TrackIR not picking up the reset keys etc until I did this.
