IvanK Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I am trying to build some basic Weather test missions using MIG29. If I set the Take off time to 17:00 hrs every time I try to fly the mission I get this message: "Your flight is delayed to start, Please wait" 1. Why is this happening ? 2. What do I need to change to get rid of the message and the delay ? If I set the time to 1200hrs everything works just fine.
Grimes Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 You set the aircraft start time, not the mission start time. Thus the mission will start at 12:00 hours by default and your Mig-29 would spawn in at 17:00 hours. Go into the briefing page and set the start time to 17:00 hours. Then go back to your Mig-29 start time and make sure it is set to 17:00 hours. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. IvanK Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 Next question. What turns on Runway/Airfield lighting ? Is it just Time of Day ? I am playing around with 200-400m Visibility in the day and would like to force Runway lights on ... as they would be in this visibility.
Grimes Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I think its just time of day. I could probably put in a request for them to also turn on under certain fog conditions. IvanK Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 That would be really nice. In general terms if Fog is active with <say 800m Viz then Approach and Runway lights coming on would be nice. A nice additional touch might also be if it could be an ATC request in the ATC Comes menu ... "Request Runway lights"... this being independeant of Time of day and or visibility.
