bobd Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 First time I tried this. I think I understand bring up Trigger options, set to once, conditions to time more, then actions is where I'm lost. In a search I found select start, but I don't see start. Is it do script, type start? Also how do you identify which plane gets triggered to start at a certain time. Feel free to talk down. Thanks for any help. Asus ROG Z390, I9 9900K , 32 GB DDR4, EVGA GTX 2080 Ti , Win10 64, Rift CV1 & S VR
Grimes Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Well you either click the checkbox "late activation" for the group or set the start time of their first waypoint to any time in the future. Late Activation is the easier to use option. Late Activation: Will only activate when triggered Timed Start: Will activate at specific time or when triggered From there you simply make a trigger: Once>Time More>Group Activate (select group name) And thats it. 1 The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Weta43 Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 From there you simply make a trigger: Once>Time More>Group Activate (select group name) And thats it. Or, of course, any other condition you might want to set for the trigger... (Unit in zone, or flag more than, etc. etc :) ) Cheers.
bobd Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 Thanks Grimes, that worked. How can the plane be visible before starting ? Asus ROG Z390, I9 9900K , 32 GB DDR4, EVGA GTX 2080 Ti , Win10 64, Rift CV1 & S VR
Grimes Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Thanks Grimes, that worked. How can the plane be visible before starting ? Aircraft a little different for this sort of thing. Tick the uncontrolled box, but not late activation. Next go to the triggered actions tab and add the task "Start" Then do the trigger: Once>Time More>AI Task(Group Start) The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. bobd Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 I'm not seeing "Start" anywhere. Asus ROG Z390, I9 9900K , 32 GB DDR4, EVGA GTX 2080 Ti , Win10 64, Rift CV1 & S VR
Grimes Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Each aircraft group has usually 4 tabs: Route, payload, triggered actions, and summery. If you mouse over each option it should display the name of the tab. Click on triggered actions and it should look pretty similar to the advanced waypoint actions which are displayed by default. From there Start is located under the Perform Command. Triggered Actions>Perform Command>Start The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
