Since logistics are now implemented in DCS, it would be a good idea for ED to develop crates and stuff for weapons and fuel for use on airbases. I think it would mimic realism very well. Imagine a base attack scenario, where you're escaping (pretty much like the shark's night escape mission IYRC), and you're hooked with supplies to the other side. would be so awesome!

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

They have options for sling load, rope, cargo in one of the LUA files. Looks like a good chance we'll see it in game.

I certainly hope so. I'm just getting the basics sorted right now.. takeoffs, landings, hovering... long haul from combat sees me..
