Alt+Tab in 1.2.4

It seems as though the ability to Alt+Tab out of the sim is broken in 1.2.4. It's possible to Alt+Tab out of the UI menus, but not once you're in the sim. When I attempt to do so, I can see the desired program flickering on the Taskbar, but the DCS simulation always retains focus.

 

This is a fairly significant annoyance for me since I often like to "tab out" so that I can adjust music, check forums or tweak controllers.

Try this:

 

First press TAB hold it down and press ALT .

 

for me it works.

Better idea (for those who have a 2 Monitors PC setup only).

In the options, enable windowed Mode and set your resolution to the Native screen resolution. so no need to ALT+Tab anymore. simply click somewhere in the second Monitor and you´ll be out of the game. The game will keep running in the background, and the desktop is still covered by the Game on the primary Monitor . But the Task bar will be accessible in order to start any programs you wish and / or open folders or do other things.
