DPS Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Is mast bumping modelled in the UH-1? I've flown a few hard push-overs and the sim has let me get away with it. Quite a few machines were lost in the 60s by pilots bunting over whilst flying nap-of-the-earth - or in turbulence.

HuggyBear Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 To really increase the risk of mast bump, unload the disc by bunting over, then apply some lateral cyclic to roll the disc while it's still 'loose'.
