_Heater_ Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 I have bought this notebook from Dell site some time ago -> http://www.dell.com/de/p/alienware-m18x-r2/pd?refid=alienware-m18x-r2&baynote_bnrank=0&baynote_irrank=0&~ck=baynoteSearch&isredir=true It's a very powerfull notebook, I play DCS with a good framerate, level of detail Med/High. Also you can try to search some review about this product i.e. Youtube Simulatori: DCS A-10C II Warthog - DCS F/A-18C Hornet - DCS F-16C - VRS F/A-18E - HOTAS: TM Warthog - Cougar \ HP Reverb G2 \ WinWing Panels Tally: I see the degenerate commie who wants to ruin our day.
ED Team Groove Posted May 7, 2013 Author ED Team Posted May 7, 2013 I think about the ASUS G75VX-CV012H. Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
EtherealN Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Whoah, yeah, that should do it. :) Only real concern with the 670MX might be memory bandwidth, which is a bit low. This might affect some effects, but you'd basically have to go up to the 680M or MX to get something that is better, and that might be a considerable price jump. Compared to desktop cards the 670MX is roughly equivalent to the 560Ti (except for that memory interface), which might not allow you to completely max out everything - but close to it. (560Ti is what I use, and I typically run with everything high ecxept water, no mirrors, and sometimes I turn of TSSAA.) WarthogSmurf Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 one thing to consider with gaming laptops is that the GPU is always one step behind of itś desktop partner. I did run a M17x rev 3 with ati HD6990m and it pumped out nice frames without too much hassle. Be wary of heat btw so addiontal laptop cooler is advised. But other then that yeah it is possible without much pain
ED Team Groove Posted May 8, 2013 Author ED Team Posted May 8, 2013 Thanks guys, i have ordered that ASUS notebook. Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
