FZG_Immel Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Some bridges are ok, some are not. I've been under very little bridges, and totally exploded passing way below huge bridges. Don't know whats up with that. Suchacz Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I noticed that too. You can't underfly with Huey for example that high one between Sochi and Adler. Per aspera ad astra! Stacker Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 It's a model collision problem ? :joystick: I wonder if the bounding box/sphere's for the model extend out too much? I notice that troops spawned too close to a landed Huey will 'freeze' until you move away, then they'll start to move etc.. i7-4790K@4.7GHz : EVGA 1070 SC : 16GB Corsair Vengence Pro : 2xEVO 840 SSD : EVGA 850W PSU : CORSAIR H100i Cooler : ASUS Z97-AR MB : CORSAIR OBSIDIAN 750D FULL TOWER

I notice that troops spawned too close to a landed Huey will 'freeze' until you move away, then they'll start to move etc.. Reading about a dynamic troop insertion/extraction script. He mentions that he has to spawn the troops further away from the Huey because of the large hitbox. So I believe you're correct.
Pelmo Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 Ok, thank you for the info! wess24m Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Whats strange is (if it is a hitbox issue) that you can fly under power lines no problem.
hog_driver111th Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 I found this out on the reporter mission of the campaign. After getting shot at, I realigned with the railroad tracks at 5ft. There's a long straight area before Sochi, with a low bridge. Knowing the size of the helo, and that it would fit, I went to fly under it. Needless to say we all died and I had to do the mission over again. A-10C - FC3 - CA - L-39 - UH1 - P-51 - Hawk - BS2 - F-86 - Gazelle - F-5E - AV8B - F/A-18C i5-4590 - GTX 1060 - Oculus CV1 - TM:Warthog [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic9979_1.gif[/sIGPIC]
