Hey everyone,

My older brother just purchased P-51D, he has zero experience with flight sims and doesn't even have a joystick (yet.)

I created a little test mission, with some P-51D client spots, and a few planes for myself, my question is; Can I have it set up so the P-51 is in game mode for him, but sim for me? Or are those settings just on his side? (under options/gameplay)

I've created a mission with game mode enabled in MY options, and he was able to fly, but when I changed my settings back to sim, it changed his to sim as well ( I think unless he just happened to revert his settings by accident).

I also have the checkbox "Use these options for all missions" checked. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Any advice :helpsmilie: would be appreciated, thanks!

You should be able to do it just fine. In the ME, make sure that the setting for flight mode and such are not forced. As long as you do that, the settings from the player machine should be in effect.

Thank you both for your answers.. I thought it world work like that unless I forced it otherwise in the ME. He must have reset his settings.

Also, he bought the P-51 because he likes WWII stuff. I told him it was one of the more realistic modules, but he's not into much else. I'm surprised he bought it at all tbh. It was quite fun though watching him try to fly the mustang in sim mode with a keyboard.:megalol:

I know this doesnt help you in your matter, but why the P-51 as first of all modules?
The P-51 is more difficult than the A-10C from a handling standpoint, but it makes a great introductory systems trainer without overwhelming avionics. I remembered all of the procedures after just one run through the training missions. In that regard, it makes a good choice for a starter module.
