112th_Rossi Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Not a problem as such, however, please could there be about half second delay before accepting any more stick inputs after force trim is applied? The reason I ask is because when doing delicate moves and then apply force trim, the sim will trim the stick THEN apply the force of the joystick you are using, creating a double input. If you delay the stick input for say half a second, it will allow us to centre OUR stick and enjoy the benefits of the trimmed stick in the simulator.
Nopileus Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Activate "Central Trimmer Mode" in the Special section of the options.
narfnarf Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Central Trim Mode is not really a solution. I thought the other mode gives you half a second time. If not it is rather useless at all.
112th_Rossi Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 Tried central trimmer mode and I found in some situations I had no stick input at all. Just need a very slight delay so we have the chance to centre the stick.
narfnarf Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 This control lock is by design, that's why I said that is not really a solution. I tried to describe the behaviour here. (It looks like I was wrong about the delay in the non central trim mode, but I think that is a bug anyway)
