Campaign Mission 12 "Caravans"-Something´s broken...

Hi Folks,

 

I´m really having a blast with the campaign, very immersive, well done !

 

Today I was playing mission 12 and encountered a problem:

 

I land near the three vehicles (first inspection, WP 4 I think), the troops get out, one of them walks to each car and at the last one, the army truck, he stops and just stands there, then nothing happens. I waited for 15 minutes, still nothing. Then I spooled down the engine, started it again after some minutes, took off, landed again in a different spot, still nothing.

 

I tried the mission again then with the same results.

 

I hope that I´m supposed to wait for them to finish their inspection and not leave them there and go on with my route ?

Something similar happened to me. I landed close to the vehicles and troops wouldn't move. I was in their path. Hopped a few meters away of the trucks and troops did their thing.

 

Yes, you are supposed to wait for them.

I'm having my own problems with this mission now.

With the second group of trucks who won't stop I'm eventually told to stop by the bridge which I've done. However nothing seems to happen. I've tried moving back and forth, trying to find a trigger spot, but my troops won't disembark unless; twice in my attempts I have rolled the Huey. Both times this did it.

Now, since I figure that since this isn't the recommended tactic and it does make it hard to get in the air again, what am I missing or doing wrong?

Figured it out. It wasn't enough to land, I had to bottom out the collective as well.

Yes when and where you land you must fully down your collective. other-wise you will not get any message
